Happy Birthday, Marines.

The United States Marine Corps turned the ripe old age of 238 this past weekend. Major celebrations were in order. The evening began with bubbling Macaron prosecco, my favorite. The girls dressed while the men drank cool brews and put on their dress blues. After heading over to Herrmann Hall on the grounds of the Naval Post Graduate School, we sipped on wine generously donated by local vendors for the occasion, took silly pictures in the photo booth, and chatted with good friends. It was an all around splendid evening and a lovely way to not only celebrate the birth of the most revered and loyal fighting force, but to honor the United States Marine Corps and our country.
